Silicone Rubber Specialists

Our silicone rubber formulations have been developed specifically for the high temperature and compression requirements of heat sealing and blister packaging. A variety of heat tolerance, tensile strengths and hardness properties are available. We specialize in high-temperature vulcanization (HTV) materials. Over 30 years of experience in silicone rubber chemistry provides almost unlimited capability for development of new formulations with performance characteristics suited to customer needs.

Proprietary Bonding Technology

We have developed unique silicone-to-metal bonding technology that assures high adhesion to flat, curved and cylindrical surfaces. This process has also been used to bond silicone rubber to Teflon® to provide the characteristics of two or more materials in a single laminate. United Silicone has developed a fully integrated in-house product development and production capability. This capability includes applications engineering in our own metal working facilities for mold making, engraving and the production of metal cores and inserts, compression and transfer molding capabilities for silicone parts, finishing, assembly and testing operations. Combined with United Silicone's silicone rubber formulations and bonding technologies, this complete, in-house service allows us to respond to the most demanding delivery requirements.
